Aims & Objective of College

    History

    The college was establishment in the year 1980 at Kotpad, on the outskirts of Koraput district.This College has 11 departments. The works of H.O.D are under provision of principal for maintaining high profile Teaching Methodology.

    Objective

    Kotpad College, Kotpad is situated in the border part of Koraput district, adjourning to Chhattisgarh. The aim and objective of the College is to help the tribals in develop their socio, economic and educational values of life as:

    a) Imparting value oriented integral education.
    b) Nourishing mental faculties of the students.
    c) Boosting the fitness level of the students.
    d) Accomplishing the moral, ethical and spiritual elements of the students.

    Key Success

    The key to the success of our students is:-

    a) Healthy and congenial atmosphere of the college.
    b) Good relationship between the teacher and the taught.

    Our Activities

    Co-curricular Activities

    In pursuance of provision made under Odisha Education Act. Service and conduct rules, members of the staff are hereby assigned extracurricular activities as per the following distribution and allotment against their names.

    NCC

    The NCC (National Cadet Corps) has been introduced in the college since 2005, to promote national consciousness and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility, discipline and dignity of labour among the students.

    NSS

    The NSS (National Service Scheme) has been introduced in the college since 2007, to promote national consciousness and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility, discipline and dignity of labor among the students.

    Social Services

    Opening prayer : The College starts with Prayer. Participation of the students, teachers and others staff members in the college prayer is compulsory.

    Youth Red Cross

    Youth Red Cross came into force in our College in 2008-09. Red Cross fund is financed by the students of our College. Each student contributes Rs.10/- For this fund . The Red Cross wing of the college has been designed at “ Youth Red Cross”.

    UGC Scheme

    Knowledge is incomplete without moral and human values. Complete knowledge transforms a human being into a divine being . Humble origin may deter one to achieve knowledge and reach the destination.
